4 small fresh or jarred truffles
Country-style bread
Whipping cream
Port
Salt
4 oven-proof eggcups
Preparation
Place one truffle in each eggcup, add a teaspoon of cream and a teaspoon of port, as well as a pinch of salt.
From a one centimetre-thick slice of country-style bread, cut out a lid
the size of the eggcup opening.
Place the lid onto the eggcup.
Place under a grill just before serving, just long enough to toast the bread.
Serve immediately with a spoon.
